What is Primordial Sound Meditation?
Primordial Sound Meditation originates from the ancient wisdom traditions of India. Deepak Chopra, M.D. and David Simon, M.D. have revived this authentic process and made it available in a format that can be easily learned and practiced by everyone. It is an easily learned meditation technique which uses individually selected vibratory sounds, or mantras, to create a quieting influence in the mind. These mantras, or primordial sounds, are the basic vibrations in nature. The selection of the correct sound is individually determined based on the location, time and date of birth. When used correctly, these mantras guide the awareness from the level of activity to the realm of silence (spirit).
