That depends upon the formula. The Alka-Seltzer Plus® Cold formulas that contain an antihistamine to relieve your runny nose and sneezing may cause drowsiness. Unlike the Alka-Seltzer Plus® Night-Time Cold formula, which relieves your symptoms to help you sleep without alcohol, the other Alka-Seltzer Plus® Cold formulas are not intended to cause drowsiness.
