How does DMAN-FRA function?
The Departure Management System serves to assist early and projective planning of an optimal departure sequence and, consequently, enable better utilization of the runway system. The take-off sequences are planned and optimized dynamically taking the required parameters (such as traffic situation, departure routes, aircraft separation, slots, taxiing times, park position, push-back procedures etc.) and runways into consideration.
