Most labs use the column selector set up because until now, it took all day long to gather enough data to make a wise choice in HPLC columns for a given application. The Mini-Scout format allows you to get the data you need much faster then ever before eliminating the need to run over night. If the best stationary phase for your application is not one of the six columns selected in the selector valve system, you will have to wait 24 hours to run the next set. In one day, you can run 18 Mini-Scout phases increasing the likelihood of finding your best phase. If the first phase is right phase, you will have saved even more time. You will advance your labs output with little input.
