How to replace riding lawn mower wheels?

0

Most riding lawn mower wheels that don’t have lug nuts have the hub welded to them and are kept in place by a snap ring (or a ring with a bolt going through it) right in front of the hub. Jack the riding mower up to about 1 inch off the ground, remove the snap ring (or ring with bolt) and slide the tire with rim and hub off the spindle. If the wheels have lug nuts, loosen the lug nuts before jacking the mower up.
