I’m looking at this one, and also the Rigid. Just wondering if the extra money for the Rigid is worth it or not. A: The CM bandsaw still is working fine. However, if I were to buy one now, I’d go with the Grizzly 14″. It runs about $425, whereas my CM was only $219. If you have the money for the Rigid, go with the Grizzly G0555. See http://www.grizzly.com/products/items-list.cfm?key=420010&sort=price for all of their bandsaws. If you are short on cash, as I was when I bought the CM bandsaw, then it is still a good value.
