What Are Life Changes?
Life can be very stressful at times and sometimes we all need a little extra support. Some changes in life that can cause stress are: • upcoming marriage • birth or adoption in the family • a recent move • job change • a child leaving home for the first time • caring for an elderly parent • separation or divorce • death in a family These are just some of the major life stresses that can happen to anyone at one time or another. Other stresses include • not getting along with an employee, friend or boss • feeling exhausted all the time • arguing with partner • having a sick child • dealing with in-laws • step-parent problems • money problems Sometimes these changes and stresses can feel overwhelming and unmanageable.
