What is auto-test and auto shut-down?
The battery charger on EZI’s products has a feature that detects when the battery is fully charged and automatically shuts itself down. When the charger comes back on and detects that the battery is still fully charged, it shuts down again. So it is an auto test as well – automatically turning itself on and off. Having this capability means the battery will always be properly charged and perform at its peak level. This feature also allows EZI products to remain plugged in all the time when not in use (in most store applications, however, electric shopping carts are typically plugged in at night and unplugged, ready for use in the morning).
