All species of true morels (Morchella Augusticeps, Morchella Crassipes, Morchella Deliciosa and Morchella Esculenta) share these characteristics: Cone shaped caps, pitted surface, hollow stem and no break between the cap and stem. Always hunt with an experienced Morel Mushroom hunter and follow the guidelines.
