In order to receive MSC, an individual must meet the following criteria established by OMRDD: – A documented diagnosis of developmental disability prior to the age of 22. – Enrolled with Medicaid for all covered services (coverage 01). – Can not be enrolled in another comprehensive Medicaid long term care service coordination program – Demonstrates a need for ongoing, comprehensive Service Coordination – Is not enrolled within a setting that provides services coordination such as a nursing home, intermediate care facility, or psychiatric hospital. PCSS is another HCBS WAIVER service that is provided to individuals who do not require intensive Medicaid Service Coordination and who are eligible for Medicaid. Individuals must be enrolled in Medicaid Service Coordination for at least 3 months, and then can apply to PCSS. The Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role for this service.
