Yes, BMW has extended the warranty on all S54 engine equipped North American M3’s and M Coupes/Roadsters to 6 years or 100,000 miles on internal mechanical engine components lubricated by engine oil (this warranty extension does not apply to any other parts of the vehicle). So far all 2001, 2002 and 2003 M3’s are covered by this warranty.
