WHAT IS THE WEBSERVER?
There is a server at each college that has been established with the sole purpose of providing support for instruction. Default pages are generated automatically from the district administrative system and can be accessed from the class schedule on the college web sites. The default pages contain a link to your class newsgroup, curriculum data, scheduling details, drop/withdrawal/refund dates, non instructional dates and faculty contact information. You can customize these pages using the “include file” that is accessible either directly from an on-campus computer, or remotely using FTP. A directory has been established on the server for every active faculty member, and you can add instructional content pages directly to this location.
