Birmingham Chapter AIA Accolade Call for Entries 2007 Purpose: The Birmingham Chapter Accolade is intended to be the highest honor the Chapter can bestow on a chapter or associate member. It is intended to be peer recognition of service to the Chapter and the profession of the highest order. It is intended that this Accolade be awarded at any point in one’s career; rewarding a single significant contribution or a career body of work. While rewarding achievement, the award would be instrumental in assisting the outstanding Architect in receiving well deserved recognition and honors from others. Presentation: The award would be presented annually at the Chapter’s Design Awards Gala on June 21st, 2007. Nominations: Nominations shall be received only from chapter or associate members at the Birmingham Chapter office by 4:00pm on May 10, 2007. Nomination shall substantiate eligibility of the candidate and contain sufficient detail as to support the nomination.
