What do the various “patches” do?
• Staminup stimulant [STAMUP] – reduces fatigue. The side-effect is that once it has worn off, you immediately attain a very high level of fatigue. • Medipatch healing aid [MEDI] – heals your wounds, increasing your health slowly over a period of time. • Berserk combat booster [BERSERK] – increases upper body strength, inflicting more damage on your opponent during hand-to-hand combat. The side-effect is that you see strange colours while the drug is active. • Reflex reaction aid [REFLEX] – increases your reaction speed (effectively slows down the outside world). After it has worn off, you experience the side-effect of your reactions slowing down for a while. • Genius mind enhancer [GENIUS] – enhances intelligence (makes puzzles seem less difficult). The side-effect is that the left and right movement keys are reversed while the patch is active. • Detox [DETOX] – counters the effects of biological toxins and radioactive contamination.
