Is money order safe over Craigslist?
A money order is like a check. This person will go to the post office, buy the money order for the amount he needs to pay and mail it to you. Once you get it, you go to the post office with the m.o. and get paid. It’s legit, and he does need your name and address, but i’m not so sure about the TE number. Thing is, if you’re comfortable giving this guy your personal contact info, go ahead. I personally wouldn’t…then again, if he needs to come pick the stuff up, you have no choice! Edit: after reading all the other replies i kind of feel stupid! I’d never heard of fake money orders…
