What is Saddleback?
Saddleback is a church in Orange County, South California. The church started in 1979 in the front room of their rented house with just Rick, his wife Kay and seven people. Since then the church has grown into a congregation of over 20,000 people with ministries reaching into every continent. Rick believes that the church has developed because of its Purpose Driven principles and practices and has set up the internationally known Purpose Driven movement to encourage and resource other churches in spreading the news of ‘Gods Kingdom’ globally.
