Can I order a Distressed or Heritage finish without the distress marks?
Yes, the Distressed finish will still have the fly speck and glaze found in the finish color, but there will be no distress marks. Heritage Finishes will still have the same dry brush techniques and/or two tone color, but there will be no distress marks, scrapes, worn edges, etc. For No Distressing, mark your Finish color name – NO Distressing (for example Gold – NO Distressing or Fruitwood – NO Distressing). If you also dont wish to have the fly speck applied, mark the order Finish color name – NO Distressing, NO Fly speck. Pricing for these custom finishes is at the Heritage/Vintage price level.
