The CADtools download link you receive as a demo or full version is compressed as a ZIP archive. Windows and Mac OS X can automatically uncompress the zip archives. If you are using an older Mac, you can download StuffIt Expanderto uncompress ZIP archives. Once it is uncompressed, you can open the installer and follow the instructions to put the CADtools.aip file into the Adobe Illustrator/Plug-ins/Tools folder. If the plugin is installed successfully, you will be prompted for your serial number when you launch Illustrator and the tools will appear in the Illustrator toolbox. Do NOT put the CADtools plugin into the Illustrator/Plug-ins folder. Adobe Illustrator will not run properly unless the CADtools plugin is in the Tools folder. Be sure to select your version of Adobe Illustrator for the CADtools installation.
