How tall will the buildings be?
The buildings proposed are five-storeys high, with the top floor set back to limit the visual impact of the buildings. The height has been reduced by approximately a metre since our autumn 2008 consultation, and we feel that the buildings fit well within the immediate context; acting as a gradual step up between the smaller-scale homes on one side, and the National Archives and the larger buildings situated closer to the river.
