Can women be Freemasons?

0

Women are not allowed to join any regular Lodge of Freemasons. If women want to be involved in Masonry, typically the wives or daughters of Masons, they have a few groups to choose from. The Order of the Eastern Star is open to Masons and relatives of Masons, (spouses most of the time, but family members also). There is also the Order of Amaranth, Daughters of the Nile, White Shrine, to name a few others. Young women have a choice of two groups in the Masonic Family. The International Order of Job’s Daughters is open to any young woman 12-21 who is related to a Mason. The Order of Rainbow for Girls is open to the same age range, but doesn’t have the Masonic relative requirement.
