Do nose piercings close up?
I had my nose pierced before and kept it for a year…..I’m lettin it close now and have had nothing in it for about 3 weeks now…..And, it now looks like a lil slit in my nose, but barely noticeable unless i point it out to someone…..So, my scarring wasn’t so bad, but it just depends on the person…..And, scarring of a nose piercing tends to fade more and more over time……So, mines it fresh, so i know it’ll fade some more….And yeah, THEY CLOSE UP REALLY FAST CUZ IT’S CARTLIDGE…..I had mines out for like 3 hours(i’m thinking it won’t tighten or close since i had it for 11 months at this point) and it was HELL gettin it back in…..They are also VERY sentative…..U CAN’T BE ROUGH WIT THEM…..Like snagging it with a towel, bumping it, sleepin on it, etc…..If u do so, you’ll have a bump next to the piercing due to irritation(the bump is scar tissue)…..i just got tired of dealing with mines and decide to let it close cuz i blow my nose too much due to sinuses and allergies
