How has the economy affected CMC?
Like the rest of the country, the economy has negatively affected CMC’s fundraising ability and endowment level. The current economic environment has made it extremely difficult to raise private endowment dollars, leading in part to the need to ask the taxpayers for the levy. CMC understands how difficult times are, which is why it requested the smallest countywide levy you will see on the ballot.
