What kind of music do germans listen to?
We listen to all kinds of music you know (well, some bands that are big in the US are basically unheard of here in Germany, such as Danity kane or something…. but than again…) Other than that, we do have a number of German badns who sing in German (Die Toten Hosen, Juli, Die Ärzte, Rosenstolz, Fettes Brot, die Fantastischen Vier, Xavier Naidoo, Seeed, Culcha Candela, Wir sind Helden, Sportfreunde Stiller, Herbert Grönemeyer, Die Prinzen, …) or English (Guano Apes, Polarkreis 18,…) And of course there’s Tokio Hotel, but right now, I guess, they are kind of loosing their game here in Germany, being all over the world but here, and stills singing only the songs they brought out three years ago, only in all different languages. Well…. but they are German, too.
