What is the definition of hours of a part-time TSS worker?
Response: Agencies should have a definition of full-time and part-time employment in their policies and procedures. If an agency considers a worker to be full-time or part-time for purposes of benefits and employment status, then generally DPW will also consider that worker to be a full-time or part-time employee.Note that, for purposes of the ongoing supervision, all TSS workers must receive MA Bulletin 01-05-05, “Revisions to Policies and Procedures Relating to Mobile Therapy, Behavior Specialist Consultant, and Therapeutic Staff Support.” The bulletin does not refer to “full-time” or “part-time” status. Instead, it requires that TSS workers employed 20 hours per week or more must receive at least one hour of supervision per week, and TSS workers employed less than 20 hours per week must receive at least 30 minutes of supervision per week.
