Solid wood flooring is usually sold in strips or planks that are pre-finished or unfinished. They are usually 3/4″ or 19mm thick, but can be found in many other thicknesses. Strip flooring is usually 2 ¼” – 3″ wide and plank flooring is usually wider than 3 inches.
