Can the PVDD excavator be hired?
Yes, the District excavator can be hired for agricultural, drainage and flood protection work for $130.00 per hour. For work other than agricultural, drainage and flood protection a written request must be made to the Board of Trustees who will determine if the work is suitable based on current projects and contractors available in the District. The hourly rate for work other than drainage and flood protection is based on “The Blue Book” Equipment Rental Rate Guide. Please see the “Equipment Rental Agreement” available at the District office, for details relating to hiring the PVDD excavator.
