Does colon hydrotherapy hurt?
Most people describe their colon hydrotherapy session as being both refreshing and relaxing. The instillation of warm, purified water is very gentle (comparable to a “trickle” from your faucet). Therefore, the pressure of water (p.s.i.) entering your colon is less than that of a standard hospital enema. Clients often describe the insertion of the speculum as “a feeling of oddness for about 5 seconds”. I have never heard anyone describe colon hydrotherapy as being painful. Learn more about colonics.
