Are SBHC services confidential?
All services at the SBHC at LMS are covered by The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). HIPAA is a means to protect the confidentiality of personally identifiable health information by restricting its release and safeguarding its security. We do not release any information without your permission. School personnel do not have access to your chart. Our records are kept apart from the school records.
