Why do women get vaginal infections?
Vaginal infections are experienced by women of all ages and are often the result of imbalances that arise among microorganisms that occur naturally in the vagina. The two most common vaginal infections, for example, are caused by overgrowth of certain anaerobic bacteria, as is the case with Bacterial Vaginosis (BV), and the overgrowth of yeast, as is the case with Vaginal Yeast Infection.
