Are providers recertified every year?
Providers with 3- and 4-star ratings are recertified every year. Each LAUP classroom group or session must successfully complete an annual certification process. Recertification will usually occur around the year anniversary date of the previous certification or one year after the start date on the initial contract. Providers with 5-star ratings will only be reviewed and recertified every three years.
