Who attends MNU?
While MNU is a Nazarene university — and a majority of our undergraduate students are Nazarene — we seek all students who value moral character and personal integrity, and who are in harmony with the University’s mission as a distinctively Christian liberal arts institution of the Church of the Nazarene. MidAmerica Nazarene University is assigned by the Church of the Nazarene to recruit from a seven-state region which includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri, a majority of our undergraduate students come from these states, but we also have a considerable amount of students (17 percent) from other areas of the country and around the world.
