Does BASF run Trainee Programs for IT newcomers?
BASF does not run any training programs at all. Newcomers learn the ropes by on-the-job training instead, an approach which we feel the complex nature of our projects demands. Wouldn’t you like to put your theoretical knowledge into practice immediately after you graduate? Of course you’re not left to your own devices as a newcomer. A personal advisor is there at your side. In addition you also learn from other members of the interdisciplinary project teams. By translating realistic project demands into a protected training environment you only postpone contact with reality unnecessarily. Yet practical experience is what it’s all about.
