Applying topically instead of soaking?

By God!!!, I think it might be working. I have been trying to get rid of this bull-pucky for years and nothing has worked to date. I used Penlac for 3 1/2 years and finally gave up. Dr’s have been trying to get me to go to systemic pills but they can ruin your liver. I have been using for 6 weeks now and it looks like the nail is cleaning up. Reason for the email: It states in the literature to use the solution for 2 months as that is the time a batch is good for. Instead of soaking, I saturate a cloth and apply it to the nail. I figure this is as effective as soaking and much easier. Can the solution be used for more than 2 months with effect?? Waiting for your reply, Clancy L. ANSWER: Two things: 1-No, applying it topically isn’t as effective as soaking. The soaking part is important because it soaks under and around the nails, in areas where just applying topically won’t reach. You’ll speed up the results considerably if you’ll soak according to the instructions, rather than applyin
