What is Interpretive Impressionism™?
Interpretive Impressionism™ is the name that Debra Stasiak created for her Aspiring Artists™ products. Ms. Stasiak notes, “If Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir were all together painting the same field, they would each create a different painting based on their interpretation of how the light was reflecting off of their subject matter.” This concept is true in Aspiring Artists classes as well. Even though each child is studying the same painting and technique, their paintings will appear different due to their own personal touch and interpretation. Interpretive Impressionism™ teaches the brushstrokes and layering techniques of Impressionism, although the unique lesson format was specifically designed by Debra Stasiak for Aspiring Artists™. The company’s exclusive step-by-step “interpretive” system enables students, of all ages, to create amazing renditions of the most beloved paintings of all time!
