Am I Pregnant even though im on yaz birth control pill?
How YAZ® works: YAZ (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol), a combination birth control pill, contains two types of hormones: an estrogen and a progestin. Combination pills are the type of birth control pills most commonly prescribed by healthcare professionals. Combination pills work in two ways: Birth control “tricks” the body into thinking it is pregnant. This prevents the release of an egg (ovulation). Without an egg to be fertilized, you can’t become pregnant.
