What is a ZipTip pipette tip?

0

ZipTip pipette tips are a 10 µl pipette tip with a bed of chromatography media fixed at the end such that there is no dead volume. ZipTip is ideal for concentrating, desalting and fractionating femtomole to picomole amounts of peptide, protein or oligonucleotide samples prior to analysis. In operation, the pipette tip is placed onto a single or multi-channel pipette or a 22-gauge blunt-end HPLC needle. Sample is aspirated and dispensed through the tip to bind, wash and elute the analyte(s) of interest. The concentrated, purified sample is precisely eluted in 0.5-4 µL of eluant. The working volume range of ZipTip is between 1 to 100µL.
