What is the difference between screen-printing with plastisol and screen-printing with water-based inks?
Conventional screen-printing is done with plastisol inks which contain environmentally-harmful PVC and phthalates. Prints with plastisol inks also result in a plastic print that is not breathable, while water-based inks soak into and become part of the cloth itself, resulting in a breathable, durable print. Water-based ink prints will not crack or fade after long-term wash and wear.
