Why isn X listed in the Critics section?
The Critics section contains links to online essays and excerpts that criticize Ayn Rand, other Objectivists, or Objectivist ideas. It does not list any of the following: • Articles or essays that are not available online, or which are only available online through paid subscription services. • Full-length books that are not criticisms of Objectivism in their entirety, even if they are available for online download. These are listed in the Books section instead. • Articles that attempt to apply or extend Objectivism, rather than criticize it. This can sometimes be a subtle distinction. Essentially, if an author appears to consider himself an Objectivist, and does not explicitly criticize Objectivism or another Objectivist by name, the essay will not qualify for the Critics section even though it may contradict views widely held by Objectivists. • Items that contain no substantive criticism or humor. For example, a page that simply said, “Ayn Rand was wrong!” would not qualify for inclu
