Is Truehome a form of therapy?
No! Truehome products are not meant as therapeutic tools for Mental Health Professionals in private practice. They are designed to inform healthy individuals capable of making good decisions about their lives and financial circumstances. However, due to their nature, our products can be used by therapists and Life Coaches with various types of credentials, based on their professional judgment, to help people make good decisions about their homes. Mental Health Professionals: Truehome is committed to the idea that trained mental health Professionals can, and should, team up with trained design Professionals to create homes that fit all aspects of the experience of being human, and homes that consider the holistic features of a family system. Truehome technology is also currently being tested with larger groups – like religious organizations – that share common values and want to design places of worship, work, or service that match their goals and values.
