What is Coursework & Assessment?
Our courses are equivalent to undergraduate first degree level and students are expected to submit coursework for these courses. Although our courses can be used for personal interest we must stress that the majority of our modules (accept the one day schools) are academic courses. You should consider assessment for the following reasons: • Modules are academic and are principally created for sound academic and learning purposes • Assessment is an integrated part of the academic and learning process • our lecturers are able to provide guidelines to students about how to approach assessment • A range of different assessment methods are used from essays to mini questionnaires, group work etc. • The number of assessed pieces ranges from 1 to four pieces of work per module (depending on the module and tutor) • Writing about what you have learned can further consolidate your knowledge • We provide a wide range of research documents via the library and affiliations to other libraries and spe
