Is the EBT Industry opposed to such laws?
The EBT Industry neither opposes nor supports such laws or regulatory attempts. The industry believes that these decisions are best made by the administrative agencies overseeing EBT programs and should be in the best interests of the clients served by those programs. The EBT Industry is concerned that the attempt to focus attention on the issue of call center outsourcing will detract from the overwhelmingly positive impact that EBT has had on the lives of clients and its role in safeguarding the economic vitality and health of our communities.
