Are law schools ranked?
All accredited law schools are ranked. The ranking is unofficial, law schools complain about the rankings but it is done nonetheless. The ranking is done each year by US News & World Report. The results are published and available in print or on the web. The rankings are divided into four tiers. The top 50 law schools are in the first tier, the next 50 are in the second tier, the next 50 are in the third tier and the last 30 are in the fourth tier.
