How safe are ekey solutions from hacking?

As there is no database of our clients fingerprints, our systems is not an attractive target to be hacked. Does a rubber, latex or silicon finger work to circumvent ekey products? To put it in a nutshell: no. ekey biometric systems uses the thermal swipe sensor of Atmel. Even if an expert wanted to get an artificial finger of their own hand, it would be extremely difficult to produce a copy of sufficiently high quality to circumvent our sensor. Both the sensors thermal technologies and the swipe-process increase the level of security further. Without the finger owners active cooperation, it is practically impossible to reproduce a copy of the fingerprint, which could outsmart both the sensor and our software. As a rule of thumb, forgers and burglars always take the easiest way. In other words, it is much easier and less complicated to copy a key, steal a card or spy out a password.
