Is it possible to complete an M.Ed. degree at Queens entirely via distance education?

• No, however, instructors may decide to teach courses via distance education from time to time, and it is possible to take courses at Queen’s during the summer. It is also possible to take up to two half-credit graduate courses at another university for credit to the M.Ed. degree at Queen’s, as long as they are pre-approved by the Coordinator and the School of Graduate Studies. Students may also take up to two Individual Study Projects (EDUC-897) during their program, but with different faculty supervisors. Students also do not have to be on-campus while they are working on their Master’s Thesis or Master’s Project, although it is expected that contact will be maintained with the student’s supervisor.
