Who maintains the roads?
The roads within the neighborhood (Nacerima, By Woods, Near Thicket, and High Green) are owned and maintained by the Association. They are not owned by Baltimore County. It is the responsibility of the Association to maintain the roads. The road surface is patched and resurfaced as necessary. The Association contracts with an independent vendor to provide snow removal in the winter. It is the responsibility of the individual homeowners to maintain their own driveways. Top • Who maintains the common areas? The common areas of the neighborhood are maintained by the Association. This includes the center strip on Nacerima between Greenspring Valley Road and By Woods, and some other small areas of land. The Association contracts with an independent vendor for landscaping services and an independent vendor for lawn care (i.e., grass cutting).
