Are jaguars an endangered animal?

0

Another view: The jaguar is an endangered species in the U.S., but this species has never been common in the northern part of it’s range. The jaguar population does seem to be decreasing in areas where it is still fairly common. The species as a whole is considered near threatened, and more must be done to keep the jaguar from having it’s status downgraded to endangered throughout it’s range.
