All FE Petro STPs are equipped with a manual pressure relief, which is a bypass of the check valve. In normal STP operation, the MPR should be in the down (fully clockwise position). To check if the MPR is in its bypass mode, remove the large brass cover screw in the center of the manifold to determine if the valve is in its bypass position (fully counter clockwise).
