Is PVC used in toys?
Plasticised PVC is often used in the manufacture of children’s toys, such as buckets and spades, ‘rubber’ rings, building blocks, dolls and cars. It is particularly valued for its non-toxicity, softness, good mechanical properties and the wide range of different shapes and colors. Balls are easily fabricated from PVC plastisols. PVC balls are easily to print on to achieve various attractive designs.
