What is a murder mystery party?
As the guests arrive and begin to meet each other they will also describe their own roles and characters. Some may have decided to wear costumes in the theme of the party. Professional actors and actresses will also be playing the role of characters in the plot, and will begin to give clues to help the guests solve the crime. Suddenly the guests witness a blood curdling murder! Murder mystery parties are ideally accompanied by a meal or buffet and during dinner the actors play scenes from the plot, provide clues to the identity of the murderer and interact with the guest to encourage their participation in revealing the culprit. The party finishes with the murderer in chains, a teasing little quiz and prizes for the best detectives amongst the guests. Murder mystery parties provide intrigue, suspense, drama, comedy…and a lot of fun!
