“CYCG” stands for the Czarnecki-Yester Consulting Group. CYCG was started by Ken Czarnecki and Michael Yester in 2001. Ken and Michael joined the CalPX (California Power Exchange) in 1997- Ken was the Director of Settlements and Mike was the Manager of Settlement Projects. They received the first ISO settlement statement for April 1, 1998, the first day that the ISO market opened, and they have been validating ISO settlement statements ever since. When the CalPX shut down, they started CYCG, which began providing settlement consulting services to ISO market participants. From their deep settlement knowledge, they later created the ISOSettlePro settlement system to assist ISO scheduling coordinators with the predictive shadow settlement and validation of their ISO settlement statements.
